I was browsing Netflix on the xbox 360 and stumbled on to this Documentary that follows the deployment, from May 7, 2005 to November 8, 2005, of the supercarrier USS Nimitz. US Navy. It follows the crew and interview them on their experience and how they feel about the war. I found myself glued to this 10 part miniseries. It gives you the up close and personal view of how it is to live aboard a floating city for six months at a time, and how really difficult it is. I found myself caring for them, and by the end I was crying along with them when they arrived home to see their families and children. I haven't seen nothing like this.
I rented Destroy All Humans...I absolutely hated that game...horrible!I took it back and swapped it out for Saw for the 360. I have to say they got the feel and look of the Saw series right, it's pretty freaking creepy, and some of the stuff they make you do. Like Grabbing a key that's in a toilet full of used syringes. Some of the trap you have to get out of or save people from are pretty hard and F*** UP, but fun. The combat system is the worst I've ever seen in a video game. But that doesn't completely take away from this demented cynical game. It does what it was set out to do, CREEP YOU OUT.All in all it was a pretty lazy weekend.
