Lost my shirt

Thursday met up with the Gadberry's at our usual spot. But it was packed! i guess it was ladies night. I guess I guess i had an ear infection, because suddenly the hearing in my left ear went out almost completely! Now, my right ear has 30 percent hearing loss (childhood infections not treated properly) So having my good ear go out on me leaving me with a bad ear SUCKED! I have to constantly ask people to repeat what they said. But now it's coming back and I can hear people again.

Friday night went to my old High School to watch one of my friend's sister play soccer. After we all went to olive garden. Cool group of peeps.

After. I went with Jorge to his cousin Ruben's place. Had some drinks. Played a drinking game...it was fun! We all ended up in the Jacuzzi. I lost my shirt at some point..no clue where it went. LOL Glad I had my jacket with me.

Played some more Mass Effect 2...MY GOD BEST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. Bioware has pushed the envelope on RPG and the way to tell a great story, I had to force myself to put down the controller to stop. Whenever i finish the game I'll write a full review.

So Mass Effect 2 is rocking it right now. About 6 or so hours in and it blows the first one right out of the water. almost everything's improved. the game is some what Linear, so you can't really get lost. but there is much to explore and side quest to do, I might need to get the Guide. No complaints here so far.

PURGE

So this month has been kind of a get rid of the bad friends and hang with the good. "The Purging of friends." I recently found out during a trip out of town earlier this month, no matter how long you've known somebody or think they care about you, things couldn't be further from the truth. I will NEVER I repeat NEVER leave town on a trip with little money, relying on "friends" to help you out if you need any extra. I originally wasn't going to go, because simply it's really stupid to go on a trip with little money. But I was told "HEY! man NO PROB, me and the other friend will spot you, LETS GO!"

So on that fact alone I felt at ease. Hell my friends will cover me if I don't have enough money. SO I went. by the time I got to the where we traveled. I was down to almost half the money I had brought with me (hotel room, and a stop at ihop on the way there) I wasn't worried, because my "Friends" will cover me.
So that night after we settled in to the hotel room, we all went out. Hey it was a party city so there is tons to do. We ended up going to one spot, buying a margarita...and then proceed to head back to the hotel room. OKAY OKAY. We decide to go eat at the hotel we where staying at, they had a buffet. Not a bad night so far. We eat at the hotel's Chinese buffet, then we head back to the hotel room...because one of the friend was tired...it was 8pm on a Friday night in "Sin City" We simply just stayed in the night...watching TV....

Saturday, HEY everybody's refreshed time to go out and walk the town have some good times! We ate a bland burger from another restaurant in the hotel. Walk the strip of "Sin City" at the very end of the strip me and one of the friends bought a huge thing of alcohol. Drank it, then proceeded to head back to the hotel room...to watch TV....At this point I was down to about 20 bucks. Me and the friend that bough a huge container of alcohol, decided to go eat dinner, while the other friend went out and had dinner with church friends. We ate at yet another restaurant at our hotel...there are so many THERE. It was the best fettuccine Alfredo I've ever had. As I handed him money for my portion of the bill. I informed my friend that this was the last bit of my money, giving him the heads up that "HEY! can you cover me the rest of the trip?!!"
We go back to the hotel room, where we continue to watch even more TV...and at this point my friend (who I had just gone to dinner with) mentioned that he can't really spend too much money anymore, because he had a sister who's birthday was coming up. Soooo that's where the night pretty much ended, he went to sleep. look I wasn't trying to be a moocher, I was planning to pay him back when I got paid that Monday. I was left in the hotel room BORED out of my mind! we where in SIN CITY and we had spent 95 percent of our time WATCHING TV JESUS CHRIST!

I had to get out and at least walk the strip again, since we where leaving in the morning. So I did just that. I walked...and walked...checked out hotels and casinos...I had no money. I was upset. I would of had more fun back home , instead I'm stuck in this city with friends who apparently came just to sleep! I came back broke and HUNGRY since I wasn't really offered food.

At first I told everyone that it was a blast in "Sin City" but I take that back, i just said that so it at least sounded like i had a good time. I've gone to "Sin city" before with other people and had 10000 times more fun. I will never travel with these people again. BIG MISTAKE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I learned who my friends really where on this trip, and these two weren't it.

Now excuse me while I go wash this experience from my mouth. BLAH

I LOVE my kid

My kid is awesome, funny, and soo smart. His mom and everyone around him are the people to thank.

He says Thank you, and Bye Bye PAPA and can hold a decent conversation with you :)

Crazy people and RAIIIN

It rain all freaking day, and later the winds reached 60+ it was nice actually. Later around 8 or so, weather alerts where coming in, interrupting programs, saying that several cities where on alert for Tornado warnings. People where freaking out especially on Facebook. I really wasn't I mean if I get hit I get hit, what else am i going to do? Right now it's calm, hopefully our state as well as California get a break.

I'm done hanging with crazy people for a while.

Played some Modern Warfare 2 with friends, it was terrible and fun at the same time. We got our asses kicked. The last game we played was against I kid you not, a group of hard core Mexicans, East LA type. They kicked our asses and where mocking us. So I dissed them on their Mexican, told them to go back to their home country. LOL they got pissed. Wanted to know where i lived so they can come and kick my ass yada yada! This game ain't fun anymore. I won't be playing as much when Mass Effect 2 comes!

I think I'm hooked on Fringe. It might be the new X-files. I still need to watch the first two seasons. Only seen 3 episodes!

Desk

Rebuilt my desk/shelf again, this time making it more sturdy and less likely to collapse on someone like last time :O It happened out of the blue, I was on my computer when BAM the desk fell on me, computer monitor went to the ground as well as my Xbox 360, luckily everything still works for now LOL. Got a small flat screen monitor for my desktop, since the last one was a huge behemoth size that most likely caused the desk to break in the first place.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Human Target....not bad, I'm glad that they are able to bring high action adventures to TV now with out making it look horrible.

Rain

Finished Beyonnetta. It was a great game fun, fast and CRAZY. Did it make sense? Not really, it had to do with good and evil yada yada the usual. But damn what a ride. I'm sure they'll make a second one.

After taking a "little" break from Oblivion I came back to it and tried the expansion, called The Shivering Isles. Just did the first half hour of it, pretty impressed by what this game keeps offering. Finally got the internet working, no more relying on my neighbors shitty wireless connection, I can play online with no problems.

It rained almost all day, it was dark and made me sleepy LOL. I guess we are getting whatever just California, and its a mess over there. Kept in touch with friends and fam over there see if the weather hit bad in their area, so far just heavy rain.

Around 10 I met some friends at our hang out joint Iguana Macks and kicked backed a few cold ones. Never have I been to a place where you can drink without worrying and still pay under $10 I love that place. Was dropped off at home and played some Modern Warfare 2 with a funny group of Australians, cool people.

These past couple of days have been a blast. My friend Jorge came back from Afghanistan. So we've been hanging out chillin and drinking. Its good to have him back for a change.

Friday we all went bowling, kicked back a few there. Then went to Dennys for a late meal. Great group of people.

Saturday we went to Phoenix to pick up Jorge's other cousin Ricky. Then went over to Ruben's house to drink. We wanted pizza but all the pizza huts where being GAY! So we finally got some Hungry Howies...DELICIOUS. Ended the night with a long ass game of Mario Party 2 on the 64.

Fun freaking weekend.

More Useless Chatter

Did allot today. Went hard core job hunting, among other things.

My friend Jorge arrived from work overseas. He was gone for six months, it will be cool to chill with him and the crew later tonight after church.

My wireless router went out a few days ago, I've had that thing for 3 years now, I guess it was its time to go. Not really in a rush to get one, they're dirt cheap, ill eventually get one. What's been keeping me going is the wireless from one of the neighbors, it ain't the strongest connection, but it gets the job done, I can play Modern Warfare 2 online with little hassle.

Figured out how to cure myself in Oblivion from being a Vampire. Apparently your suppose to go to a church and pray at the altar. Then the next time you go to bed instead of waking up as a vampire, you wake up normal. It took a while to figure out. This game is too much! might have to take a break from it.

I'm making sure I watch the remaining days of Conan, its almost certain that his last show will be on Jan 22 :( UGH this makes me so sad, I am boycotting Leno forever. But I'm hopping something good will happen before his suppose last show, like everyone coming to an agreement or Leno going away!!!!

Getting better

Finally gave in and took some medicine. Feel a little better. I was knocked out for most of the day. Going to look for a more permanent job tomorrow see what that brings.

I'm very sad to hear that Conan is getting screwed by NBC so that Leno can have a half hour comedy show. Its time for leno to go away! Retiren no one thinks he's funny anymore...we need to make way for younger and funnier people. Wherever Conan goes, either staying at NBC or another network, I will follow. He is the funniest person on late night, and someone who've I've spent 15 years watching before bed.

Ran into a road block in Oblivion. I became a VAMPIRE....it was random after I slept I was bitten by a vampire in the middle of the night...so I figured okay...then I went about my bussiness, but then I would slowly start to transform into one to the point where I couldn't walk out in the sunlight. There's a cure, but the quest will take several hours to do...no thank you!!! If I revert back to a previous save file ill lose 2 hours and I can try to avoid turning into one I guess, kind of a dragg, but at the same time pretty cool at what this game throws at you. I'm such a nerd...

Youth in revolt

I started feeling kind of blah towards the afternoon, haven't really taken any medicine for my cold. So I just chilled and played some more Oblivion...just like Fallout 3 addicting GAH! Ended playing some Modern Warfare 2 with friends, after getting our butts kicked I left.

I spent a while organizing my court papers for Liam's custody hearing coming up in Feb. Still have lots to do.

My friend Adam invited me to see Youth in revolt...it was freaking funny.

The Elder Scrolls

Almost 4 years after its release I finally gave in and picked up Oblivion. I skipt it because it looked boring, but friends told me that it was a fantastic game. After playing Fallout 3 the same people who made Oblivion, I had to try it. Well I'm about two and a half hours in and I haven't even scratched the main quest....I'm going to try to play little spurts at a time. But I can see why everyone liked this game...its MASSIVE

Feelin better

After sleeping for a while today I felt allot better, I took it easy and watched some Smallville and Fringe.

Still playing Mass Effect, trying to do all the side quests, there are many. Plus finish the game a second time. Debating if I want to pick up Oblivian another RPG I've heard so much about, tons of people say its awesome, but it came out in early 2006, and game that came out then on the 360 don't look that great. But its dirt cheap used.

I met up with my friends at Iguana Macks to kick back some beers, shot the shit caught up some more from last week. Cool people. I need to branch out and meet or reconnect with new people and old friends.

My "diet" is going ok. I need to get hard core on it. I lift weights when I can and I need to buy heavier ones....LONG ROAD AHEAD.

SICK

Ugh I thought I was getting better, but I got a small fever last night and my throat is killing me! Hope I get better and wait it out a few days, if not too the doctor's I GO!

Sunday SUNDAY SUNDAY

Sunday was spent mostly in doors. Liam and I where a little sick, might of been from a cold my sister just got over. Liam only had a runny nose. But I had a blast with him this weekend.

I played some Darksiders....It reminds me so much of the God of War series, same type of enemies and bosses, this game is freaking hard, all in all the game is MEH...I don't know if ill beat it or not.

I wanted to watch the season premiere of Chuck but I passed out and woke up at the end of the episode...It was a two hour season premiere DAMN IT!!!

Busy day tomorrow.

99 cent store

Had a great freaking day with the fam. Went to Dessert breeze park where they have a small train for the kids. (pic above) After we ate some Mcdonalds where Liam played his but off. And finally we raided our local 99 cent store, I mean we bought ALLOT of stuff. Finished the night with Skyping with friends.

Friday chill

This kid is SMART

Took my kid to the park for a bit, he had a freaking blast. Then came home and just chilled. It's been a while since I've stayed home on a Friday. I just kicked it with my son, and it was fantastic. I plan on doing that again tomorrow!

Played some more Modern Warfare 2 with friends, got our asses kicked but it was all in fun....BASTARDS!!!!

I can't get enough of Jersey Shore...it's such a dumb show but DAMN...so funny.

Attempting my second read of Atlas Shrugged, on page 130 ish. Going to see if I can read it again, being one of the best books ever written.

I <3 BioWare

I've been playing Mass Effect as a Renegade. And it's crazy how the game (a second time around) is almost an entire new experience it is. Bioware is one crazy company of people who know how to tell a story and pump out fantastic games IE dragon Age one of my favorite RPG since FFX. I had to stop myself from playing it because it was taking up allot of time, thats how gripping BioWare pulls you into their games and doesn't let you go. I am forever a fan...well until they make a shitty game ;p

Played Modern Warfare 2 with people on twitter, even though I've never met them in real life, it was allot of fun, they where a funny bunch and our conversations mostly took our focus off the game.

1st update of the NEW YEAR

Um....what the! haven't posted in a few. Computer has been acting up so i have to open her up and see whats wrong with her (that's what she said)

Just trying to stay alive. Looking for real work.

i was in California a week before Christmas for my older sisters 15th wedding anniversary. It was pretty good. Then i went to Las Vegas with friends. Next time i will make sure I have enough money to spend or else not even bother to go!

Ive also been finishing up games, like Assassin's creed II LOVED IT. Mass Effect just in time for part 2 later this month. Even though I haven't beaten GTA 4 (that's my next thing to do), Ive played and completed the 2 episodes that where released. Modern Warfare 2 is still the same, the multiplayer is still questionable, but sometimes still fun to play.

Dusted off my old camera that i bought in 20006, and it still works pretty good. i was going to buy a new one, but i'lll hold off and save for a better one.

That's all I can think of. I'm off to rip apart this beast of a computer.
