Ahhhhh The late 80's early 90's. Every Friday night I would watch this show. But it was soon canceled in 1993. NPH kind of dissipated for a while, appearing in B movies here and there. Showing up in a hit comedy movie Harold and Kumar go to white Castle, from there he was brought back to the spotlight. His show How I met Your Mother is a hit on CBS. I think NPH is here to stay for a long while, and we're glad to have him.

Saint Patrick's day
Man Never have I drank so much green beer in my life. Last night for Saint Patrick's day was a blast. I wanted to go out, but most of my friends had to work till later that night. Meet up with a couple of friends at 5pm. We had to pay a $5 dollar cover charge LAME. The beer was cheap $2 a pop, and it was GREEN.
My friend Justin AKA Jake GyllenhaalCalled it a night at 7:30. I was going to chill at the house and recover from drinking many beers from earlier. But I got a call from other friends 8:30 or so, they wanted to go out drinking. I was picked up and we drove around looking for a place. Iguana Mack's was decided. We arrived and I didn't have to pay a cover charge since I was there about 2 hours earlier!!! We drank more green beer, at some point they had a Gut belly contest, where a group of dude would parade they're guts to the crowd, and then they would decided who wins by how loud the crowd cheers for them. Not long after that the Wet T-Shirt Contest started..We had to make sure we had front row seats for this. The prize was $200 in cash! A lot of women participated, most of them where drunk I'm sure. One women, after having water poured on here decided to go all out and take here top off, she had big fake boobs...she won the contest.
It was a fun freaking night. I got home and don't remember how I got to my bed. I went to work this morning with a hangover. But I survived :)
My "medals" I was given throughout the night

I've gotten to the point where Video Games aren't fun for me anymore. I thought that would never happen. But i find lately that this "Hobby" is becoming less and less meaningful. I considered myself a HARDCORE gamer. I hardly bought games, but I'm there on Tuesday morning at my local video rental store, for the weeks newest releases of games. My all time favorite video game series Final Fantasy released it's 13Th chapter...and I'm kind of disappointing. I'm 12 hours in and all it is, is linear paths to the next cut scene with monster and a hard boss at the end of each chapter. Doesn't really motivate you to go on.
I rented a game that just came out called Metro 2033. They get the creepy mood just right, but the game play ain't as polished as other FPS like MW2 or BFBC2. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'm kind of done with video games, maybe for a while. Might still play Multiplayer games with friends. I'm going to not rent games every week anymore, I will trade in FFXIII tomorrow since G-stop has a 50% trade in bonus, with my discount card on top of that I'm looking at getting almost $50 bucks for it, their sale ends tomorrow. So with that credit I'll use it to a future game that's coming out.
I'm going to go 1 week without playing my Xbox 360...let's see how that goes. I will be able to focus on other things like..LIFE.
Video games have been kind of my downfall. I was heavily addicted to Word of Warcraft for years. So when my son was born I promised his mother that I would quit playing the game when he came home. That never happened, I continued to play, and pretty much left my kid's mom to take care of him on her own. I finally quit sometime late 2008, it was the best thing I ever did. I made it a rule to this day, that when I had my kid for the weekend that I would not touch a video game, unless he is asleep.
I want to start getting back into church, I've started reading the bible again. While I'm not the perfect human being, but I'm trying. I've started writing again, I forgot how great it felt to get my mind going with ideas.

Tempe Cinemas
Went to Tempe Cinemas a theater that shows movie that left the Mainstream theaters recently. It's about 5 dollars cheaper than what it would cost to see a new movie. It's been there for 20+ years, so it's older there isn't stadium seating GASP! It's been at least 2 years since I've been there. I saw Extraordinary Measures.I remember going to that movie theater a lot during 1994. I mostly saw one movie, Jurassic Park. Back in the summer of 1993 in California, My mom and dad took me to see Jurassic Park. Scared the SHIT out of me, I made it up to where the T-Rex breaks lose, I left the theater. My parents stayed since they where enjoying the movie. I walked into Last Action Hero. less scary and I LOVED that movie. It wasn't until 1994 now living in Arizona, when I found out Jurassic park was playing at Tempe Cinemas. I had to see this movie, man up. Back then it was known as the Valle's only Dollar cinema.
I saw it from beginning to end this time around, it was the best movie I'd have ever seen. From then on for about 6 months, almost every weekend I would drag my mom or dad, hell even my older sister to see Jurassic Park. Finally one night while watching the movie, the film burnt. They tried ti fix it but the film was so old, and had been ran through the projector so many times that the film wore out. That was the last time that movie played at that place, I was very sad. It was an end of an era.
Tempe Cinemas is a pretty rad place to go.

Multiplayer games...meh
Beating the Campaign in BFBC2 almost a week ago. It's was ok, nothing spectacular. It had it's moments, and the bantering of the squad was really funny. But when I got to the end I was left with a bland campaign.
The online portion of the game is another LOVE/HATE thing for me. I love how fun it can be, but you have to absolutely depend on your squad to stay alive or to, if your ass wanders off alone trying to take some enemies out, you'll die..a lot. So if you have a shitty squad who suck...well your stuck with them, which makes for a very frustrating match. Now I'm not talking 10 minute little matches here, these matches can go for a very LONG time. I played a match the other day that lasted almost an hour....RIDICULOUS. MW2 at least you can wander of on your own, kind of do your own thing, and the matches are 10 minutes, so you can get a game or two in real quick if you need to. BFBC2 if you need to leave suddenly, and already invested 30 minutes into a match that is no where near over, you will lose all the point you made. Also the leveling is slow...it will take a while for you to get perks for your classes.
There are no GREAT multiplayer games out there right now. I decided to trade MW2 in for FFXIII. I don't miss it, hell there's even a new map pack coming out for it in a couple weeks. I DON'T CARE. I know it will be the same game with the same stupid glitches. BFBC2 is a hit and miss.

Man marries his pillow....

Lee Jin-gyu married his pillow adorned with an image of Fate Testarossa, an anime character.
He organized a special ceremony complete with a local priest and a wedding dress for the pillow. The local media also covered the story. A friend of his says:
"He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere. They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal."

FFXIII frist impression
Took my time going to the midnight release, I showed up at 11:45pm I will never again show up hours earlier like I did for other releases. I was in my car on my way home at 12:07.
About two and a half hours into it and loving it. It's defiantly a different type of game from the previous entries. It looks beautiful.

Rescue Me
Rescue Me is one of my favorite shows out there, I hold it second to Six feet Under THE best show ever made. When FX renewed the 5th season for 22 episodes I was excited! I watched the first 10 episodes then missed a couple of episodes, then I tried to watch it but found myself lost, so I figured Id wait till DVD. When the DVD came out they released Rescue Me Vol. 1, which contained 11 episodes...WHY couldn't they release all of the episodes! Then Netflix releases all the season to stream on the Xbox! Love it
Singer
My kid trying to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Dad come down to see Liam, we all went to the new Chinese Buffet down the street from my house. It SOOOOO good but pretty expensive. Later that night I played some BFBC2 with David.

Game round up
Toy Soldiers is an XBOX Live game that came out. It's like a tower defense game with a mix of RTS. Focused on WWI and it does a GREAT job on making it feel that way. The music is top notch as well as the sound. The game play is fun with a variety of things to throw at the apposing team. I took a chance on getting this game without reading any reviews. It's definitely worth a purchase.
Finally finished Dragon Age. I got to the last boss of the game back in November, But kept getting my ass kicked, I wasn't prepared and it's HARD. After dying roughly 10 times I gave up, took the disc out and put it back in the case, haven't touched it till today, figure I should try again and beat it since the Expansion is coming out on the 16TH. After reading a few guides to see how to handle the boss, they all said the same thing..just keep hitting it till it dies...FINALLY on my third attempt I was able to kill the boss, I think it was a glitch because the boss didn't move or attack me while I beat the crap out of it. Anyways game is beaten and ready to go for the expansion. YEEEEY...I'm a nerd.
Battle Friend Bad Company 2 is not a Modern Warfare 2 killer...The multiplayer in BFBC2 is ok. It's not bad. But it's more of a work together with friends or teammates to win. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you wonder off on your own, you'll get your ass kicked. MW2 you can kind of go off on your own and survive, it's also more fast paced and it's more fun. I was told by friends to buy it, and I almost did but settled with renting it, I'm glad I did.

Critics are STUPID My review of "Cop Out"
I was pretty excited to see this movie, then I saw it was directed by one of my favorite filmmakers, Kevin Smith I HAD to see it. Then I started to hear the critics chime in their review of the movie....It's been pretty much universally panned by them. So I was pretty bummed, I avoided it for a few days, then a friend invited me to see it. I figured why not! He works at a movie theater he can get me in for free. It's not a movie that will blow you away. Just go in and you'll have a good time if you don't take it seriously. Screw what the critics say about it. It's funny. Tracy Morgan can get a little annoying towards the end of the movie, but Willis is good. This IS NOT A Kevin Smith movie. It's a film he was hired to direct, his first that he didn't write. On the bright side this movie came in second and was the highest grossing film for Smith in his career.
